The free things first

A Google Business Profile with a set service area, correct hours, real photographs and a steady trickle of reviews will out-perform a new website in a town like this, and it costs nothing. Anyone selling you a site without mentioning it has not looked.

Then the page the search actually matches

The lesson we learned on our own site: a page about one thing collects far more searches than a page about everything. For a Leigh trade that means a page per service, not a services list.

Then speed, because the audience is on a phone

The published threshold for the main content appearing is 2.5 seconds on real visits. Small-town sites fail it more often than city ones, because they are usually built on a template with four sliders.

Reviews beat copy

In a low-volume local market, what converts is twenty recent reviews, not a better paragraph about passion for quality.

Would A booking page with a deposit, an ordering page that prints to the counter, a till, a trade portal — anything that removes a job somebody does by hand daily.
Would not A rebrand, a blog nobody will write, or a social media retainer. We do not sell those and we are not quietly good at them.
Might not need to If your problem is twelve missed calls a week, the fix could be a phone system and a form, and that is a week’s work, not a project.

When we are the wrong firm for this
