The app your customers open,
or the one your team lives in.

Two very different jobs, one discipline. A customer app has to earn a place on the home screen. A staff app has to survive a wet Tuesday on site with one bar of signal. We build both, and we build them for the phone first.

Why this matters

Plenty of businesses are told they need an app in an app store when what they actually need is something installable that works everywhere and updates instantly. We usually start with a progressive web app — home-screen icon, push notifications, offline tolerance, no download friction and no review queue — and go native only where the hardware or the store presence genuinely justifies the extra cost. Either way it shares the same data as everything else you run.

Questions

Before you ask.

Do we need to be in the App Store and Google Play?
Only if your customers will actually look for you there. For most businesses a progressive web app gets the icon on the home screen without the download step, the review delays or the platform cut. When a store listing does matter, we ship native builds.
Will it work without signal?
Yes, where it needs to. Field and on-site apps are built to keep working offline and sync cleanly the moment a connection comes back.
Can it connect to our existing systems?
That is usually the point. The app is a front end onto the same data as your website, CRM or back office, so nothing has to be entered twice.
