Web design for Birmingham.
Built for brands that grew to a third branch.
The Birmingham enquiries we take are nearly always from a food brand at the awkward size: popular enough to have opened a second or third site, not big enough to have a head office. Everything is still being run the way it was run with one shop, and the system is the first thing that breaks.
Start a projectWhat breaks at the third branch
In that order, every time, and all four are system problems rather than management ones.
Nobody knows the real price
Three branches, three menus, a delivery platform with its own inflated prices, and a printed menu from last year. One source of truth with per-branch overrides is the fix, and it is a week of work that saves an argument a month.
The loyalty card only works in one shop
A Wallet pass issued per shop is three schemes. Issued per brand, it is one, updating by push without an app update and without a customer installing anything.
The owner finds out on Monday
Takings, voids, refunds and discounts per branch, visible daily rather than reconstructed weekly from till rolls.
Staff permissions are a shared passcode
Which means discounts and voids are untraceable. Per-person logins and an owner console behind a re-authentication step are the cheapest fraud control there is.

Kitchen and counter, across sites
- Accept or reject, then print Nothing prints automatically at any branch. A printer that prints on payment prints orders a kitchen cannot make, and at three sites that happens three times as often.
- Sold out, per branch The item is off in Sparkhill and on in Moseley. The website has to know which branch the customer chose before it offers it.
- Allergens held once Against the product, for every branch and every channel, because the information has to be available before the order is placed and three copies will not stay in step.

When we are the wrong firm for this
If you are still a single site and busy, you do not need any of this yet, and we will say so. If you are at ten branches or more, you are at the size where an established EPOS group with engineers in the Midlands may serve you better than we can, and that is a fair answer rather than a modest one. The range where we are genuinely the best option is roughly two to eight sites.
That is also the range where the big products start charging per terminal and the arithmetic turns.
Before you ask.
Can one loyalty card work across all our branches?
Can branches have different prices?
Do you come to Birmingham?
- Takeaways and grills →The food systems we build most often.
- Tills and POS →Counter tills, kiosks and kitchen screens.
- Leicester →Retail and wholesale from one platform, which is what we already run for a Leicester food business.
- Liverpool →Hospitality ordering, bookings and loyalty for Liverpool, built for demand that arrives in spikes.
